At St. Barbara's Roman Catholic Church, our mission is to be a spiritual home and beacon of Christ's love in the heart of Brooklyn. We are dedicated to nurturing the faith of our community, serving those in need, and fostering a welcoming parish where all can grow closer to God.
Faith
We are rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church, providing sacraments, prayer, and spiritual guidance to deepen our relationship with God and each other.
Charity
Following Christ's example, we actively serve our neighbors through outreach, support for the vulnerable, and works of mercy that extend God's compassion.
Community
We build a vibrant, inclusive family of faith where every person is valued. Through fellowship, shared worship, and events, we strengthen our bonds as the Body of Christ in Brooklyn.
"As a parish on Bleecker Street, we cherish our unique role in Brooklyn's tapestry. We are more than a building; we are a living community called to bring hope, faith, and love to our neighborhood and beyond."
A spiritual home for Brooklyn since 1902.
